Description

Lencolo 8710 is a silicone-modified polymer with excellent capability to enhance coating surface hardness and soft touch of coating film, It provides outstanding abrasion resistance and water resistance, and offers good sandability in matte coatings. It improves the orientation of aluminum flakes / silver pigments and silica. When used at higher dosage, solubility compatibility and recoatability should be evaluated.

Applications

Solvent-based coatings such as industrial coatings, inks, one-component plastic paints, and casing paints.

Recommended Usage

Recommended dosage: 0.1%-0.3% based on total formulation; when used as a tactile or abrasion- and scratch-resistance additive, 1–2% is suggested.

It is recommended that users perform a trial prior to use to determine the optimal application method and dosage.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum
