Description

Lencolo 8550 is an important, high-efficiency, environmentally friendly liquid stabilizer for UV-curable formulations, primarily used to extend the storage life of UV products. It prevents self-polymerization of UV-curable inks, UV coatings, photoresists, adhesives, unsaturated polyester resins, vinyl monomers, and similar materials during storage. The product offers excellent performance, effective stabilization, and a wide range of applications.

It can be used in UV resin, UV varnish, UV adhesive/UV light-curing coating (UV plastic coating) to inhibit polymerization and stabilize, prevent gel oxidation, extend the storage period of resin solution products, and improve stability;

Acts as an efficient polymerization inhibitor for acrylate and vinyl monomers as well as resins;

Particularly effective in UV nail gels, 3D UV printing, and UV inks, especially in products containing thiols or active amines. Must be added when dissolving solid resins with monomers to effectively prevent short-term gelation.

Recommended Usage

Add in the later stage of the formulation.

Recommended dosage: 0.2%-2% based on the total amount of resins and monomers.

It is recommended that users determine the optimal dosage through preliminary testing before use.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum

Tips: Lencolo 8550 exhibits a pronounced anti-gelation effect in UV nail gels, 3D UV printing, and UV inks. Particularly essential for products containing thiols or active amines, or for solid resins dissolved with monomers.
