Description

Lencolo 3103 is a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane solution that reduces the surface tension of coating systems, improves substrate wetting, prevents pinholes, enhances leveling, and increases surface slip and gloss. This additive is suitable for both waterborne and solvent-based systems.

Product Features

It strongly enhances surface slip and substrate wetting. With excellent compatibility, it is suitable for all coating systems and is especially recommended as a preferred additive for UV coatings. It prevents pinholes, provides good surface slip, and improves film scratch resistance. It also performs exceptionally well in waterborne coating systems.

Various coating systems, especially suitable for UV systems, various water-based coatings.

Recommended Usage

Dosage: 0.05–0.4% based on total formulation.

For waterborne and UV systems, the dosage can be up to 1%.

Users are advised to determine the optimal dosage through trials prior to use.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum
