Description

SQ-720008  single-component UV matte touch oil is mainly used for hardening the surface of PC, PET, PMMA, PC/PMMA composite sheets or membranes. It can be applied by spraying, shower coating, roller coating and other methods. After the coating is formed into a film, it has good adhesion to the substrate and can protect the surface of the coated material for a long time. The coating process is simple and the production efficiency is high. The coating has good optical properties, high cross-linking density, low curing shrinkage, extremely high hardness and excellent wear resistance. It can be used to make texture decoration and shell molding for mobile phones, laptops, home appliances and other products. Good chemical resistance and high transparency.

Application Process

1. The UV-type general-purpose wear-resistant hardening liquid is typically applied by spraying, curtain coating, or roll coating. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.

2. The product does not require any pretreatment (including dilution). Shake well before curtain coating to ensure uniformity.

3. During curtain coating, move the nozzle along the same horizontal line from left to right. Follow the process guidelines provided by the equipment manufacturer.

4. After curtain coating, allow the panels to run vertically for approximately 2 minutes to enable free evaporation and leveling, then pass through a 60–70 °C oven for 3 minutes while kept vertical.

5. After heating, move the panels into the UV curing area for standard curing. Adjust curing time based on the lamp’s energy; if conditions allow, slightly extend the exposure time to enhance coating hardness. (For testing, a UV lamp of 2000 W with a 30 cm tube length was used.)

6. After curing, cool the panels to room temperature before measuring performance.

7. After coating, thoroughly clean all equipment with an organic solvent.

Precautions

1. This product is pre-diluted to a solid content and viscosity suitable for curtain coating, and does not require further dilution before use. If a higher solid content is required, we can provide a custom high-solid product and corresponding diluent based on the customer’s specific requirements.

2. This product contains flammable components. Take proper precautions against fire during transportation, storage, and use.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 1 kg / 5kg / 25 kg per drum
