Description

L-1260 is a specially modified hydroxy acrylic copolymer, which can be combined at room temperature with non-yellowing polyisocyanates. It is particularly suitable for two-component clear coatings and solid-color coatings, offering excellent physical–chemical properties and pigment dispersibility. It provides outstanding adhesion on optical coatings and also exhibits very good adhesion to substrates such as ABS, PC, PC reinforced with fibers, PMMA, glass, steel, aluminum, and iron.

Applications

Optical coating paints, optical coating treatment agents, two-liquid PU varnishes or solid color paints, pearl-effect coatings for various metals and plastics.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 20 kg / 200 kg per drum

Tips: L-1260 exhibits excellent adhesion to optical coatings, good recoatability, and after recoating, maintains 5B adhesion following water-boiling at 100 °C for 30 minutes.
